Community-Based Training
Throughout 1st year of the BEd, we were brought to many different local establishments such as the Two Rivers Art Gallery, to learn about using them in our classrooms!
Technology in the Classroom
I utilize mobile laptops and cell phones in my classroom regularly for research and using various simulations to help teach different concepts.
Scaffolding Science

Nicole Haugland (EY) and I (SY) presented on scaffolding complex science content for K-12 to our UNBC peers and local SD57 representatives
Earls Management Training
Through my employment at Earls Restaurant, I have had the opportunity to visit Las Vegas and San Diego to observe high quality food and table service. We do a lot of team building and customer service training at Earls, and I utilize a lot of this training as an educator!
