"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
- Albert Einstein
ABOUT ME

I love to be outdoors and I am very passionate about learning new things. I think that love of learning is what made me determined to become a teacher. I want to engage my future students by sharing my passion for curiosity and learning and passing that love onto them. My passion is for inclusive education and making science accessible for students of all backgrounds and abilities. I hope to prepare future generations by teaching them how to problem solve; we may not know what issues will plague our future world, but we can definitely prepare our students to take on those issues without fear!
I graduated from Duchess Park Secondary School. After graduation, I attended Concordia University College of Edmonton, where I worked towards my Bachelor of Science and played for the women's volleyball team. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science at the University of Northern British Columbia. I then was accepted into the UNBC Bachelor of Education: Secondary Years Program. I have completed three practicum placements: one at Nechako Valley Secondary, and two at College Heights Secondary.
